Hi, The disposed water from an RO plant will have to be tested for pH (Acidity) before using for irrigation or for preparation of spray solution for pesticides / fertilizers. If the pH of this disposed is 6 to 7, we can use.
The RO water is made after removing the excess salts, solid particles, pathogens, etc through a membrane. Hence the disposed water will have these filtered salts which may harm the plant.
For large farms, this can be used for irrigation as these excess salts will get diluted in the soil mass and the pathogens if any will be a very very small load on the soil microflora to bring out any diseases on the crops.
Happy Farming!!.
